Since its founding in 1978, Breakthrough House, Inc. has served over 15,000 individuals. The people who come to us for help have diverse needs. All of them have mental illness. Most have a serious mental illness; and most, if not all, have little or no income except for disability benefit payments and/or some form of public assistance.
Breakthrough House, Inc. receives funding from diverse sources through a variety of mechanisms, including grants, contracts, and income from rental properties. Much of this funding comes with restrictions specifying that it can only be used for certain specific programs or purposes, and because we are a non-clinical provider, none of the services we currently provide are billable to Medicaid, Medicare or private insurance. This is why your support is so important.
How to Contribute
It is contributions from individuals like you that give Breakthrough House, Inc. the flexibility to provide the wide range of services we currently offer. Many of these are services that the people who come to us benefit from the most. Won’t you help support our work on behalf of persons in recovery from mental illness?
